Out of Six one accuse Qasif disclose in the interrogation of police that he and the other came in a car and attacked brutally Harsha with a sharp weapon when he was drinking tea at the canteen on Sunday night.
After the killing of Harsha, the situation in Shivamogga went out of control and protestor started to appear on the roads with brandish weapons, pelting stones, and even setting many vehicles to fire.
To control the situation law has applied section 144 in the entire city and a holiday for schools and colleges for two days.
Police are available at every main road of the city and have been stopping the protestor with the help of tear gas. Since the killing of Harsha happened a total of 19 incident of protest has been listed in Shivamogga and during the protest, 8 local people got injured and 18 vehicles are damaged.
