Formed the all female and highly successful Hip-Hop group, Salt-N-Pepa, with her friend Cheryl 'Salt' James. They were later joined by rapper DJ Spinderella.

Salt-N-Pepa stopped releasing albums in 1997 and pofficially disbanded in 2002. They have since reformed to play on ad-hoc occasions.
