Recently, content creators and streamers have been making quite the buzz in headlines. Be it some drama or controversy, streamers are always involving themselves in something or the other. Moreover, streamers like N3on and IShowSpeed are names frequently appearing on the news. And every once in a while, Pokimane’s name also comes up in the news. Furthermore, recently, Pokimane has responded to people claiming how she has rebranded a dropshipped Cookie Company into her own!

When it comes to making money, content creators and streamers are always on top. Many streamers and content creators have their own businesses apart from their social media careers. Additionally, considering the hype amongst their fan base, these businesses run really well, too. The Prime Energy drink, owned by KSI and Logan Paul, is a business worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and its recent deal with Coca-Cola has further hyped the brand.

Furthermore, streamers like Valkyrae and Amouranth own a beauty line business that makes them quite a money! Moreover, Pokimane also makes a ton of money through a lot of other endeavors than just streaming. And it seems like the streamer is stepping into the Food Industry as fans have claimed that the streamer has rebranded a Cookie company into her own! However, the Twitch streamer is receiving quite the backlash over this.

Myna Snacks is a new food brand that Twitch phenomenon Imane “Pokimane” announced. Furthermore, it quickly became viral on the internet. Pokimane said that Myna Snacks offers a line of little Cookies that are created with “real, non-GMO ingredients.” Pokimane’s entry into the Food Industry excited a lot of people, but drama was inevitable, and it happened!

Some people claimed that her product was a “rebrand” of an already-available snack and bashed the streamer on social media. Many netizens on the internet have compared Pokimanes Cookie company with “Toatzy Midnight Mini Cookie” and have claimed that her Cookies are just a rebranded version that she offers at three times the price.

Pokimane is promoting her Cookie Company’s product, Midnight Mini Cookies, at the premium price of $28 for a 4-pack, $56 for an 8-pack, and $84 for a 12-pack. They are touted as being produced with “deep chocolate with velvety white chips and sea salt.” This has titled a lot of fans all around. And the streamer has finally responded back to people:

“The batch of Myna cookies we’re currently shipping were made 3 weeks ago. They are not a drop shipped product, and we own our formula. The cookies they are being compared to were also made by our manufacturer, Creation Foods, which specializes in healthy food. the compared cookies had one test batch sold before they were retired. Months later, we partnered with Creation Foods and fell in love with the flavor profile of the midnight cookie. We then decided to work together to refine and improve the formula, and we’re really happy with the final product. While the ingredients list may look similar, they are entirely different in terms of ingredient quality, quantity/ratios, sourcing, the size/texture of the cookie, and of course the added vitamin D. refining formulas is a very common practice in the food industry + around 70-80% of the foods you see in grocery stores are white labeled.”

Furthermore, a spokesperson from the company has even said, “Our product formulation is unique to Myna and exclusive to us. We can confirm the Midnight Mini Cookies were in development for two years. This process included many rounds of testing and ingredient changes.”

Although fans are still bashing Pokimane’s Cookie Company for being rebranded, the streamer has come forward with a really intense explanation. The scrutiny that the Twitch streamer is facing right now is pretty harsh, and fans are still attacking the Twitch streamer over her newly instated Food industry business!
