Alex Etheridge Obituary News; Arizona Teen Who Met Blink 182 Drummer Travis Barker During Phoenix Concert Has Passed Away
Alex Etheridge, a kid from Arizona who was fighting bone cancer, has died, his family says.
Since January 2022, Alex had been fighting cancer. We told you his story for the first time when he recorded a song with the band Soul Asylum. A few weeks later, in June, he met his hero, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.
Samuel Weidenhofer, an Australian social media star, made it possible for the two people to meet.
Weidenhofer said, “I found the FOX 10 article about Alex and how he played drums with Soul Asylum.” “When I heard his story, I knew I had to come all the way from Melbourne, Australia to Phoenix to bless him and give him a once-in-a-lifetime chance.”
Alex said, “It was crazy,” after the Blink 182 performance. “It didn’t feel real. I was there when everyone famous was. After spending so many hard days in the hospital, I thought I was dreaming.”
Alex was 13. His family said that plans for service will be made public in the next few weeks.
He willbe greatly missed by his loved one and family. May they be strengthened to bear the lost. May his soul rest in peace. Feel free to send in your condolences and remember the family in prayers.
